Set Styling Direction
Little Slices is a show that centers around quick tips in the kitchen. It’s meant to be quick, edible, and easy-to-follow; the format also allows for guest stars. Walmart came to us with the proposition to sponsor four episodes that were holiday themed and a social package that would launch simultaneously to encourage users to watch the show. We would do two that were Thanksgiving themed and two that were Christmas themed.
As this was a sponsored effort, though I’d created the show’s aesthetics, branding package and graphics already, we offered customization of graphics that I oversaw. For this project, I had a motion graphics designer, set designer/prop artist, and food stylist that I directed in accordance with the show’s aesthetics and the featured Walmart product. We also were asked to use mostly Walmart products for propping and set styling. You can take a look at the full process below!
